BRG works with E&P operators, midstream companies, and infrastructure developers across the Appalachian basin.
BRG has served operators and infrastructure companies at every stage of a project, from large acquisition programs to targeted field curative work. The companies on this page reflect that experience.
BRG works directly with Apex Pipeline across the Appalachian basin, handling the land and right of way functions that keep their pipeline operations moving. Our work includes corridor research, ownership identification, easement negotiation and documentation, and ongoing land support across Pennsylvania, Ohio, and West Virginia. We operate as an extension of Apex's team in the field, drawing on deep regional knowledge at every project phase.
We managed everything in the storage field asset from 2017 to 2024. This included lease and amendment acquisitions, title, abstracting, heirship, division orders, data management, curated and tailored live system for HUO tracking, cotenancy qualifiers, tract participation, and weighted averages. We acted as a full in-house land machine that could pivot quickly and staff accordingly.
BRG is currently providing land services for Fidelis Infrastructure's Monarch Compute Campus, a large-scale infrastructure development project in the Appalachian region. Our team handles right of way acquisition, permitting, and land title work across multiple jurisdictions to keep the project moving.
These projects reflect the range and scale of work BRG handles, from long-term asset management to active infrastructure development.
Fidelis Infrastructure
The Monarch Compute Campus is a large-scale infrastructure development project in the Appalachian region. BRG handles right of way acquisition, land title research, and permitting for the project, supporting Fidelis Infrastructure's development timeline across multiple jurisdictions.
HG Energy LLC
Beginning in 2017, BRG served as HG Energy LLC's in-house land department for their Appalachian upstream position. Over seven years, our team managed all aspects of the asset: lease and amendment acquisitions, title examination, abstracting, heirship research, and division orders. We built and maintained a live tracking system for horizontal unit operations (HUO), co-tenancy qualifiers, tract participation, and weighted averages. BRG staffed and adjusted as the asset evolved, operating as a complete land department through the close of the program in 2024.
BRG operates heavily across the tri-state Appalachian core of West Virginia, Pennsylvania, and Ohio, and also works in neighboring states including Kentucky, Virginia, and New York. Our landmen know the counties, the courthouses, and the operators in this region.
Beyond Appalachia, BRG's reach extends into every major oil and gas producing basin in the Continental U.S. We are active in the Permian Basin and Eagle Ford in Texas and New Mexico; the Anadarko Basin, SCOOP, and STACK plays in Oklahoma; the Haynesville Shale across Louisiana and East Texas; the DJ Basin and Niobrara in Colorado; the Bakken in North Dakota; and across the Gulf Coast states. As a mid-size firm, we mobilize quickly, staff accordingly, and handle multi-state programs without missing a beat.
Operators and infrastructure companies across the Appalachian basin work with Brown Resource Group for their land needs. Contact us to discuss your project.
